Remuneration: £130 – £160 per day

A secondary school based in Wimbledon are looking for an outstanding and passionate English Teacher to teach English up to KS3 – KS4. The successful English teacher will need to be organised and energetic with the ability to motivate pupils to achieve their full potential. Only strong NQTs will be considered for this position. You must be available to start after Easter for this English teaching role.

The Wimbledon based voluntary-aided school, is a comprehensive school for Roman Catholic girls aged 11-18. The school has a tradition of academic excellence, addressing individual needs and service in the spirit of St Angela. The school specialises in Business & Enterprise and Languages, they believe this curriculum will equip the girls with skills for the modern and global world.

The Ideal English Teacher

To be considered for this post you will be an inspiring English Teacher with extensive knowledge of the English curriculum at KS3 and KS4. You must have a desire to develop your teaching abilities & be fully involved in helping the English department achieve good results & develop the overall English ability of all students. You will also be expected to have demonstrable experience in the following:

  • Structured Lesson Planning
  • Organisational Skills
  • Strong Discipline
  • Reliable and Punctual

The successful English Teacher will have:

  • A recognised Teaching Qualification – QTS / QTLS or equivalent
  • Eligibility to work in the UK without restrictions.
