A school based in Romford is looking for a fully qualified and passionate English Teacher to join their school. The successful English Teacher will be able to teach up to KS3 – KS4 confidently. Ability to teach up to A Level English is desirable but not essential. You must be available to start IMMEDAITLEY. Strong NQT’s are welcomed to apply for this English Teaching role.
The school is based in Romford and there aim is to ensure that all our students experience an education that will prepare them with the skills, knowledge and understanding to be able to make a meaningful contribution to society. They are a rapidly improving specialist Engineering and Sports college and this is an exciting time for the school. They have high expectations of all our students, in terms of uniform, behaviour and most importantly academic progress and success.
The Ideal English Teacher
To be considered for this post you will be an inspiring English Teacher with excellent knowledge of the English curriculum at KS3 – KS4. You must have a desire to develop your teaching & be fully involved in helping the English department achieve good results & develop the overall English ability of all students. You will also be expected to have demonstrable experience in the following:
- Structured Lesson Planning
- Behavioural & Classroom Management
- Organisational Skills
Only very strong NQTs will be considered for this English role.
The successful English Teacher will have:
- A recognised Teaching Qualification (PGCE, QTS, BEd. or equivalent)
- Ability to teach English at KS3 & KS4
- Eligibility to work in the UK without restrictions
