English Teacher – KS3 & KS4

Academy based in High Barnet is looking for an outstanding and inspiring English Teacher to join their English department on a permanent basis. The successful English Teacher will have excellent subject knowledge and must be able to teach up to KS4 English confidently. Only very strong NQTs will be considered for this English role.

The Ideal English Teacher
To be considered for this post you will be an inspiring English Teacher with excellent knowledge of the curriculum at KS3 and KS4. You must have a desire to develop your teaching & be fully involved in helping the English department achieve good results & develop the overall English ability of all students. You will also be expected to have demonstrable experience in the following:
- Structured Lesson Planning
- Passionate and Dynamic
- Organisational Skills
Only very strong NQTs will be considered for this English role.
The successful English Teacher will have:
- A recognised Teaching Qualification (PGCE, QTS, BEd. or equivalent)
- Ability to teach English at KS3 & KS4
- Ability to teach English A Level desirable is not essential
- Eligibility to work in the UK without restrictions
